Belmont Stakes Recipe
The Belmont Stakes cocktail recipe is a welcome break from the traditional mint juleps served for the Kentucky Derby. Made from vodka, rum, strawberry liqueur, lime juice and grenadine, and served in a chilled cocktail glass.
Ingredients
- 2 oz Vodka
- 1 oz Golden Rum
- 1/2 oz Strawberry Liqueur
- 1/2 oz Lime Juice
- 1 tsp Grenadine
- wedge Lime - for garnish
- slice Orange - for garnish
- Garnish: Lime, Orange
- Glass: Cocktail Glass
Directions
- Shake vodka, rum, strawberry liqueur, lime juice and grenadine with ice in a cocktail shaker.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
- Garnish with a lime wedge and an orange slice.
