Caorunn Gin and Tea Recipe
The Caorunn Gin and Tea is a warm drink made from Caorunn gin, your favorite tea, rosemary-infused simple syrup, cinnamon, clove, ginger and nutmeg, and served in a toddy or other thick-walled glass.
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 oz Gin (Caorunn)
- 3 Star Anise
- 1 pinch Nutmeg - grated
- 3 Cinnamon - sticks
- 9 Clove
- 1 inch Ginger - sliced
- 1/2 oz Simple Syrup - rosemary infused
- Tea - any flavor
- Water
- slices Apple - for garnish
- Garnish: Apple
- Glass: Toddy Glass
Directions
- Heat all ingredients for 30 minutes without boiling, but stir frequently.
- Pour into a toddy glass and garnish with apple slices.
