Globe Trotter Martini Recipe
The Globe Trotter Martini is a yellow colored cocktail straight out of the Amazon rainforest, invented by Philippe Morin. Made from Joseph Cartron acerola liqueur, elderflower liqueur, gin and cucumber, and served in a chilled sugar-rimmed cocktail glass.
Ingredients
- 2/3 oz Acerola Liqueur (Joseph Cartron)
- 1 oz Gin
- 1/3 oz Elderflower Liqueur
- 2 slices Cucumber
- Garnish: Mint
- Glass: Cocktail Glass
Directions
- Wet the rim of a chilled cocktail glass, then dip into sugar to coat the rim.
- Muddle the cucumber slices in a cocktail shaker, then add acerola liqueur, gin, elderflower liqueur and ice, and shake well for 15 seconds.
- Carefully strain into the glass and garnish with fresh mint.
