Pale Frances Recipe
The Pale Frances is a vaguely pink cocktail that is not overly sweet. Made from Caorunn gin, pink grapefruit juice, orange bitters, lemonade and maraschino liqueur, and served over ice in a highball glass.
Ingredients
- 1 oz Gin (Caorunn)
- 1/2 oz Maraschino Liqueur
- 2-1/2 oz Grapefruit Juice - pink
- 5 drops Orange Bitters
- Lemonade - to fill
- 1 wedge Grapefruit
- Garnish: Grapefruit
- Glass: Highball Glass
Directions
- Shake gin, maraschino liqueur, pink grapefruit juice and orange bitters with ice in a cocktail shaker.
- Strain into a highball glass full of ice and fill with lemonade.
- Garnish with a grapefruit wedge.
