Madame Butterfly Recipe
Named for the classic opera, the Madame Butterfly cocktail is not as morbid, and could likely lead to happier endings. An orange colored drink made from Gran Gala Triple Orange liqueur, orange vodka, Aperol, verjuice, yuzu juice and dried raspberry powder, and served in a chilled cocktail glass.
Ingredients
- 1/2 oz Orange Liqueur (Gran Gala Triple Orange)
- 1/2 oz Orange Vodka
- 1/2 oz Aperol
- 1/2 oz Verjuice - unripened grape juice
- 1/2 oz Yuzu Juice
- Raspberry - dried powder for rimming glass
- Garnish: Raspberry
- Glass: Cocktail Glass
Directions
- Wet the rim of a chilled cocktail glass, then dip into dried raspberry powder to coat the rim.
- Shake the remaining ingredients well with ice.
- Strain into the prepared glass and serve.
