Hawaiian Eye Recipe
The Hawaiian Eye is a refreshing blend of traditional and tropical flavors delicately balanced to form one of the perfect classic cocktails. A creamy pink colored drink made with good old Kentucky bourbon, vodka, Kahlua coffee liqueur, Pernod absinthe, half-and-half, maraschino cherry juice and egg white, and served in a chilled highball glass.
Ingredients
- 2 oz Bourbon
- 1 oz Vodka
- 1 oz Coffee Liqueur (Kahlua)
- 1/2 oz Absinthe (Pernod)
- 1 oz Half and Half
- 2 oz Cherry Juice - maraschino, from the cherry jar
- 1 Egg - white
- wedge Pineapple - for garnish
- 1 Cherry - for garnish
- 1/2 cup Ice - crushed
- Garnish: Maraschino Cherry, Pineapple
- Glass: Highball Glass
Directions
- Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor.
- Blend on low speed until smooth, and pour into a chilled highball glass.
- Garnish with a pineapple wedge and a maraschino cherry.
