Foolproof Recipe
The Foolproof is an easy cocktail to make at home, perfect for any occasion. Made from genever (or gin), triple sec, orgeat almond syrup, bitters, orange bitters and absinthe, and served over ice in a rocks glass.
Ingredients
- 1 oz Genever (Bols) - or gin
- 1 oz Triple Sec (Bols)
- 1/4 oz Absinthe
- 1/4 oz Orgeat Syrup
- 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
- 2 dashes Orange Bitters
- Garnish: Orange
- Glass: Rocks Glass
Directions
- Add absinthe to a chilled rocks glass, and swirl it around until coated, then discard the excess.
- Stir the remaining ingredients with ice in a mixing glass, and strain into the glass.
- Garnish with an orange twist.
