Almond Gin Fizz Recipe
The Almond Gin Fizz is a pink colored drink made from an array of complex flavors and aromas guaranteed to calm the most impatient palette. Made from Caorunn gin, orgeat almond syrup, cardamom, lemon juice, egg white and crème de violette, and served in a Collins glass.
Ingredients
- 1-1/4 oz Gin (Caorunn)
- 1/2 oz Orgeat Syrup - almond syrup
- 1 oz Lemon Juice
- 1/2 oz Creme de Violette (The Bitter Truth)
- 1 Egg - white
- 2 Cardamom
- Club Soda - to top
- Garnish: Orange
- Glass: Collins Glass
Directions
- Muddle cardamom in the bottom of a cocktail shaker.
- Add ice and the remaining ingredients, and shake until frothy.
- Strain into a Collins or highball glass, and top with club soda.
- Garnish with an orange zest.
